Greetings from Topeka, KS

This is Jason making a quick post from Topeka. Just wanted everyone to know how awesome Kacy is! For roughly 40% or so of the past 2 years, she's been dealing with me being on the road for work. I know it is hard on her, but she does a great job while I'm gone in keeping things under control. I know it is hard on her, but she does enjoy the perks of the travel, like our upcoming first class trip to Hawaii.

Anyhow, I just had to brag that I have such a great wife! Nothing much to do in Topeka, it's not Trinidad, that's for sure :)

Love you Kacy! Thanks for all you do around the house!

Easter Day!

Easter Morning was eventful to say the least. Dawson had woke up in the middle of the night with the flu. So we had our middle of the night alarm clock of children puking going off downstairs. After getting him in the bath and cleaning his room we decided it was best to just make him a bed next to the bathroom door. Just in case! So 7:30 came way to soon. We hit the alarm and slept for another 1/2 hours. When we decided to finally get out of bed it was a little too late for kids to do Easter baskets before church. So we made them wait. That was fun! We through a blanket over them and told them they had to wait. Well Mom was not feeling very good so she helped get kids ready and ended up going back to bed while Dad took kids to church. Everyon at church thought the kids looked so cute in their matching clothes.

When the kids got home from Church we let them finally open their Easter surprises. The were so excited. Kennidee opened hers and was so excited about her outfit and then had to check out all of her candy and decided what she liked and did not like. Dawson really did not care what the candy was. He was just excited about the whole thing. Kyson really only liked playing with the grass that was in his basket.

After the baskets it was time for the Easter Egg Hunt in the backyard. The kids could hardly wait. The were down the stairs scoping out before I could even get out the door. We decided that Kyson needed to join in the fun but he did not really like the feel of the grass. He was done after grabbing one egg, Which Kennidee stole from him a few minutes later. She says he doesn't get candy because he has no teeth. The kids are at such fun ages. They just make everything so fun. We love our kids so much.

After the Easter Egg hunt Mommy, Sissy and Kyson took naps while Daddy and Dawson played games. Grandma Rinnie and Papa and Great Gra came and had dinner with us that night. Kennidee by the end of the night was asking when it was Easter again. As much as we love the holidays we were ready to go to bed and are glad it is 364 days away.

Easter Egg Hunt with the Stephens Family

On Saturday we had some Friends visiting from Arizona. They always have a big easter egg hunt and lunch and they invited us. The kids had so much fun Dipping eggs. Grandma Etta made sure that even Kyson participated in the fun! The kids were so excited to see Phoenix, Shaelynn and Aubrey. We can't wait for them to move back home.

After the Decorating they had to wait patiently for the big Easter Egg Hunt. The kids had fun finding the eggs and then looking for their one special egg with their name on it. Inside each of the kids found some candy and money. They thought that was pretty cool.

Our Little Princess!

So last Friday was the Disney Princess on ice show and Grandma Rinnie took our little Princess Kennidee. She was so excited. Even though Mommy wasn't feeling well Kennidee wanted her hair done like a princess and she wanted to wear her Princess Aurora dress from halloween 1 1/2 years ago. Yes, It still fits her. She was so excited to call Mommy and Daddy after the show and tell us all about the Princess getting kissed by the Prince to wake up. She is so fun and is so all girl.

Kyson is officially our runt!

Okay so today we took Kyson to his 9 Month appt and he is officially our little runt. He was 18 lbs 4 oz and 27 1/4 inches long. Which puts him in the 12% for his weight and 18% for his height. Now his head is another story. He was in the 63% for his head. So yes he is a short little bobble head. Poor Baby! Now to compare him to our other kids he is by far the smallest. Dawson was 18 lbs 4 oz at his six month appt. He was our short fat buddha baby. Kennidee was our short bobblehead and now our little runt.

Now all jokes aside, he's doing great. He is standing up to things and all over the house. He still has no teeth but he loves to eat everything. He is such a happy little man and his smile is just contagious. Can't believe he's 9 months old. Time sure flies!

Hooray for Kacy!

Kacy finally made an introduction post, now hopefully we can keep this up to date.
I'm working on putting together a slide show of pictures for the blog. One of the benefits of traveling so much is all the SkyMiles and Marriott points that we get. We've been able to take several vacations due to these. Our kids are a little spoiled when it comes to travel. Dawson and Kennidee have been to Disneyland 3 times, Sea World and Lego Land as well. Kacy has been to Hawaii with me, and we're going again this summer, first class.

I've now been to something like 44 of the 50 states, plus a few places in Canada and as Kacy mentioned, I was in Trinidad last week. I've been able to see baseball games in Wrigley Field and Fenway Park as well as other MLB games. I also was able to see the shuttle launch in Florida, that was cool! But it gets really boring being gone so much!

Here's a picture of the kids in October in Disneyland in their Halloween costumes. They loved all the attention of going in costume.

Okay so I am not quite sure how this whole blog thing is suppose to go but here is my shot at it. Well Our Family is doing very well. The kids are growing up so fast.

.
Dawson is almost six years old and is loving Kindergarten. He is doing so well at school. We are so proud of him. He is such a special boy. He loves music and was able to go to the Jonas brothers with Daddy and he loved it.

Kennidee is in preschool and turning four in July. She is such a princess. She is the "Drama Queen" of the family. She is such a little mom to Kyson. She loves him so much. She loves Dawson too and wants to do everything with him. However he is to cool to hang out with his sissy alot. She sure looks up to him though.

Kyson just turned nine months old. He is such a wonderful baby. He is so happy and such a busy boy. He is all over the house and is pulling himself up to furniture. He loves the stairs so we can't turn from him for even a second or he is checking them out. He loves food even though he still has no teeth. He loves Pepsi and Macaroni and Cheese. We are not allowed to eat anymore without sharing with him. He loves his brother and sister. We are sure lucky having him in our family.

Daddy has been traveling for work and is currently in Trinidad. What a rough life. LOL He says it is so nice there yet he has been stuck at the office til after dark and hasn't had the chance to really enjoy it. He will be home Thursday night and we can't wait. We don't like him being away from us.

Mom has been busy taking care of kids. Doing activity days and keeping the house together while Daddy is gone. She is still selling Modbe Clothing and very excited about the new swimline. She was able to take a break from the kids and went to St George by herself a couple weeks ago and made her first attempt at snowboarding. What an experience. She had a blast though and can't wait to do it again.
