Kennidee Graduation!

So our big girl had her 1st year of preschool graduation. You would think that I am a first time parent. I got there early and made sure to sit in the front of the room. I was not going to miss any of the cute things my daughter would not, yeah thats right would not do. I had prepared her by practicing the songs and even bribed her with Ice Cream and McDonalds if she would do the songs. Yeah well she got the "Look" many times from her mom. Yet she still was not going to do it.

Yes this is our Kennidee playing with her hands while everyone else sings and dances. Now I do sometimes forget that Kennidee is the youngest in her class by almost a year. All the other kids are going in Kindergarten this year.(For all you Moms out there, This is just how it is. Your children will not perform so plan on it. That way if they do you are more excited.)

She did decide after a few looks from mom and mom mouthing "Ice Cream" to her to participate in one short part of the program. You can tell by the picture at how excited she was about it too!

This a picture of Kennidee and her cousin Brynnley looking at their cute year scrapbooks that their teachers make for them. They are so cute. They have pictures from all the field trips and activities that they did in class. I love it.

Here is Pictures of Kennidee and her wonderful teachers this year. Mrs. Cunico and Mrs. Jensen. After many years of teaching Mrs. Cunico is no longer teaching preschool. We were so sad. We loved her so much. Whenever I tell Kennidee that she can't do something she would always say "But Mrs. Cunico says that if I use my manners then I can". She was always so excited to go to school. We are happy and excited however that Mrs. Jensen has decided to start her own preschool in her home. Kennidee is very excited to have Mrs. Jensen again next year as a teacher. We can't wait.

And this picture is of course of our family minus little Dawson. Because it was while he was at school so he wasn't able to come with us. We are so proud of our little Kennidee. She is growing up so fast. It seriously just seems like yesterday she was a baby. I can't even believe it. We love her so much.

Our Smart Little Princess!

So one day Kennidee was walking around the house doing the pledge of allegiance. I thought it was so cute I had to film it and show it off. She is so stinking funny. She has to move the whole time she is saying it. She can't hold still. She is such the performer!

(You need to go to the bottom of the page and turn the songs off in order to hear her)

If the video doesn't work below, try this link

This is so funny!

Okay so this Video was sent to me in an email. I thought it was so funny I had to watch it over and over. I have never seen this comedian before. I hope you guys find it funny too!

Spring Break

So for spring break I decided it would be FUN to take three kids by myself to St George for 5 days. Who in their right mind decides to travel 4 hours in a car with three children? Honestly! Well we are happy to announce that all the children and Mom survived the drive there and back. While it was snowing at home we were enjoying the nice warm weather and hanging out by the pool. My sister Kim and her kids came down too. So you had my 3 kids, Kims 5, Kori's 4 kids and Lisa's 2 boys. The grand total children being 14 with 4 adults. We were definetly out numbered. No one drowned in the water and we had no emergency trips to the hospital. So all in all it was a very successful trip. I ran off and forgot my camera so the only picture I have was one that was taken with Lisa's phone of Kyson enjoying his Popsicle. He thought that was pretty cool that he got to make a huge sticky mess with a popsicle. But when you are at the pool who cares Right? I was so ready to be home in our own beds and getting kids back on schedule. Now if I can only get caught up on the laundry we will be good.

Spring Football

Today was the BYU spring football game. Dawson and Kennidee were excited to get to go to see football after a long cold winter. Before the game, they have a 1 hour clinic where the kids can go down on the field and run drills with the players. Dawson loved it (as he did last year), and Kennidee was shy and didn't want to talk to anyone.

Dawson had a mini helmet which he was excited to get autographed by Max Hall, Michael Reed and others on the team.

My Boy is growing up!

So Little Dawson just celebrated his 6th birthday and I can hardly believe it. Time goes by so fast. It seems like just last year that I was snuggling up with him and changing his diapers. I remember when Dawson was born, I loved him so much from the start. Yes I know Mom's do that. But I swore I was not going to cry like all these other moms do. Well I was wrong. The doctor handed him to me and I lost it. He was so beautiful. He was so precious. I never thought that I could love anyone I had just met that much. I never wanted to put him down. I had him snuggled up with me every night in my bed. His room was right next to mine and he never slept in there. In fact his cradle was at the end of my bed and he never even slept in that. I just did not want to be away from him for even a second. When I had to go back to work it was horrible. The only thing that kept me sane was the fact that my wonderful sisters were taking care of him. He was such a happy little guy all the time. He just lit up whenever anyone even looked at him. When he was about a month old he won 2nd runner up in the "Hawaiian tropic". That was so fun for Mom. The first year seemed to fly by. Unfortunately it has not stopped yet. We are so proud of Dawson. He is in Kindergarten and is the smartest one in his class (Just Ask MOM). He is reading so well. I can't even believe it. He is the biggest sweetheart. He always says the funniest things that just make us laugh. He loves to tease and loves to play on Webkinz and play the Wii! He has the strongest little testimony of the church and never lets me put him to sleep without saying prayers and turning on Church tapes/CD's. He prays every night that he can go to the Temple with Mom and Dad. And even though he is now 6 years old he still loves to snuggle up with his Mommy. He always knows when to come and hug me or tell me he loves me. He also showers me with compliments telling me how pretty I am. Sometimes I have even managed to be "Sexy". Now I am not sure a 6 year old knows what that is but who cares. I love it anyway. Every morning when I drop him off at school he never leaves without saying "I Love You". How in the world did I get so lucky. I am the luckiest Mom in the world to have such wonderful kids. These pictures are from when Dawson was 15 mths old. I love them so much though. I wanted everyone to see how cute and happy he always was. Then of course there is a much more recent one.
Happy Birthday little Buddy!
